Consultation
I do consultation service with EMS crews and medical directors for protocol writing and review, service expansion, training and credentialing.
I have experience with transitions from volunteer to paid services and transitions from two separate services to a larger service. I am experienced with the acquisition of services and mergers and can provide consultation and help develop a framework for system change.
I offer consultation services for other medical directors or EMS services to review existing protocols, or help write new ones. A well written protocol is one of the most protective factors to EMS services/medical directors involved in litigation.
I am passionate about medical direction. I am available to provide medical direction as a temporary medical director while a permanent medical director is found, or while the medical director is on a leave of absence. I am also available for permanent positions as medical director for local EMS crews.
I have experience with lecturing on a wide array of EMS topics and will cater to a departments requests in developing a lecture to suit their needs. My favorite topics to lecture on are: airway skills, trauma and pediatric emergencies. I am passionate about bringing new skills and research to rural environments.
